I do not know about you but I have always found it odd that Crash will not have more fur than that. Yet a bandicoot is really furry! So I found a small plugin called Neofur for adding fur, hair and even create grass with very little stress and much ease. →
After a day of rest (no I don’t work on Sunday … almost not … Well ok I kinda worked but shhh!), I decided to make some screenshots for your enjoyment. The videos… it’s good! But images without pixelation… it’s always better! →
So I thought to be limited by the Unreal Engine, I realize again that this engine is amazing and resourceful. Unlike the CryEngine that prevented me from doing many things or in any case easily, that I discovered the ability to animate an inert object and without skeleton but mostly without any technical constraint. →
A little animation! Certainly Crash is still playable but I work hard on animations, so see if there are bugs and how to fix them. I also had fun test some opportunities and I must admit that the Unreal Engine is great in terms of managing animations. →
A little video to show what Unreal Engine is capable at rendering. For me it’s a real pleasure to work with even though I still struggle with the interface. But when I see how easy it is to create materials worthy of the name, it leaves me dreamer! →
